The college is both open to the city and takes place in a ring around a central courtyard facing south. Two parts are distinguished: the ground floor whose animation is for pedestrians, it plays transparencies while delineating the footprint. The upper part, which is treated as a topography and identifies the three basic elements of the program: the college, the gym and the boarding school. This set is unified by a signage in the form of a raster pattern. It echoes the skin of the building. It indicates the main functions of the building while acting as a visual filter between the inside and the outside. The ensemble then forms an emblematic urban signal.
