From its start, the studio has collaborated with Cuisse de Grenouille, a lifestyle and clothing brand inspired by surfing. Amongst its many collaborations, the all-over July motif, a graphic simplification of Hokusai’s Wave, was developed on different supports (clothing, objects, web design). By its multiplicity, it has become the brand’s graphic symbol. We also designed the store’s furniture, in Paris’ rue Froissart, using the first surfboards’ fabrication methods. For example, the Log table has four legs in solid wood that were fixed onto a central board made by a shaper. Another example is the Olo stool whose solid wood seat is separated into two parts and then fixed onto a central board that stretches out onto a lacquered metallic base.
