When the architectural firm Hardel Lebihan contacted us to design the signage for the new UGC complex in Bordeaux, our research quickly turned towards a unique installation, the signature of the place. Like American cinema pediments, we design a light strip that also serves as a support for the text, which is deployed inside the hall. In parallel to this intervention, we are also designing the candy kiosk. A futuristic backlit cylinder straight out of a Kubrick film, it serves as a benchmark for the orientation of user flows, distributing space rationally. In addition, position and direction signage is displayed throughout the place, indicating the common escapes, and identifying each of the rooms.
